Today is National Gingerbread Day, which I confess confuses me. Of all the times of the year I would think of making—or eating—gingerbread, it wouldn’t be early June.
September? Okay, anticipating fall. October? Fall. November? Celebrating home and family. December? The holidays. January? Depression recovery from the holidays. But June? No way.
