It’s a new year, so we’re gonna try something new. And don’t listen to Tech Guy when he says I’m willing to try something new regardless of the time of year. Not sure any other man dreads the words “So I had this idea” as much as he does :-).
As voracious readers, we’re always looking for another great book. And yeah, it’s gotten lots easier with all the behind-the-scenes-magic Amazon does to recommend books they think you’ll like. But I still like real recs from real people.
Every week or so, we’ll have a guest reader or author pop by Brain Candy to do an “If You Like…” recommendation. For example, “If you like Nora Roberts, then you’ll like these three other authors.” Then they’ll give you a snippet on why they love these lesser known authors.
