If you’re not familiar with Mental Floss magazine, get thee to a book store and run to the register with the latest copy. It’s a fun mash-up of cool trivia and info on topics you never knew you wanted to know.
I’ll admit I don’t yet have a subscription, but I placed it on my Santa list. If Santa doesn’t come through, I’ll take matters into my own hands.
In addition to a great magazine, Mental Floss offers cool gadgets, books and t-shirts through their online store. Several of the t-shirts are especially applicable to writers. The shirt pictured here is one of my faves…because I’ve never met a cliche or metaphor I didn’t love.
