Honestly, aren’t women so much easier to buy for than men? I was strolling through Pier 1 last week looking for stocking stuffers for Smarty Boy. If he’d been Smarty Girl, I could’ve hooked him up. But all I came out with was a bamboo back scratcher – LOL.
The challenge with buying for the women in our lives is there are just so many things we could buy. Of course, the best gifts are both a true surprise and just right for the giftee. But sometimes that’s easier said that done, so maybe these suggestions will help!
How about one of these fabulous silk throw. Yes, a little pricey at $90, but your mom or sister are worth a little extra!
I’m in lurve with these birthstone rings. And the price point—$50—makes this a just right gift for a family member or good friend.
Want to give a little luxury in a small package? How about a pair of cashmere socks? Her feet will thank you. 🙂
These R. Riveter bags are so cool! Made by military spouses and in limited quantities. Again, a bit of a splurge, but she’ll have a very unique bag. (They also make messenger bags, etc. for the guys.)
Most women would love flowers once a month. This company’s regular bouquets are just $40 including shipping. Even if you can’t spring for them every month, two or three times a year would be a treat too.
Of course, experiences are great as well – maybe a girls’ getaway or spa weekend. If you can’t swing that, how about a post-holiday lunch for just the two of you?

This is Banana Pudding Lovers Month, which seems strange to me. Banana pudding is a spring and summer dish in my book. What do you think?
